Oakland County, MI is where I was born and raised. While growing up in Rochester Hills I embraced diversity every step of the way. A proud veteran, I was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 2001.
Receiving a Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish with minor in Linguistics from Michigan State University was my next step. Pursuing my passion for law lead me to graduate cum laude from Cooley Law School in 2012. My collegiate career continued, by earning two LLMs in Corporate Law and Insurance Law from Western Michigan University. Passing the bar in 2014 and being admitted in the Eastern District of Michigan in 2015 are among some of my accomplishments. Being members of the Ingham County Bar Association and the Animal Legal Defense Fund is important to me.
Currently, I reside in Lansing with my spouse and child. Giving back to the community by doing pro bono work in the field of animal law brings me joy. While English is my primary language, I do speak Spanish and Swahili.
